How many pictures will we receive?
The number of pictures depends on the type of session booked. Full sessions will receive all images (25-50). Mini sessions will receive their choice of 5 images (additional images available for purchase). Other session types may vary.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Newborn pictures are typically done within 5-15 days of birth. This is the best time and allows the baby to be swaddled and fuss free! I understand that there can be special circumstances that prevent this time frame. Please feel free to contact me to discuss options.
How will my photos be delivered?
Most sessions are delivered digitally via our website. Images can be downloaded to your device for permanent storage. Any physical prints or materials can be picked-up at the studio or mailed (S&H may apply). If special arrangements are needed, please contact me directly.
I am unable to make my session. What should I do?
I understand that unexpected situations arise. I ask that you notify me as soon as possible so I can reschedule and fill your spot. If a deposit was paid, I will allow 1 reschedule after which the deposit will be forfeited.
Are Deposits refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable. I do allow you to reschedule and transfer the deposit 1 time after which time it is considered forfeited.
What payment methods are accepted for sessions?
I accept Cash, Checks, CashApp, PayPal, and Venmo. If ordering prints from the site, Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, and PayPal are accepted. If paying by Credit or Debit card a processing fee may be assessed.
How should we dress for our family session?
Families typically dress to coordinate. The colors and materials will depend on the season or theme of the session. Feel free to reach out for more tailored suggestions.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Ironically, as a photographer, I also do not like being in front of the camera. I strive to provide my clients with a stress-free session where your family's unique personality can be captured naturally!
How long until my pictures are ready?
After shooting your session I typically provide finished photos within 2 weeks. Delivery may be sooner or later depending on demand.
Is a Deposit required to book?
A deposit may be charged depending on the session type and venue. You will be notified about any required deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are typically $25-$50 but may vary for specialty sessions.
I received my digital download, but I where do I print my images?
Digital images are a great way to save your session for years to come, but I know printing can be difficult. I highly recommend AGAINST using Wal-Mart or Walgreens to print images as the quality is not up to professional standards. I would recommend MPIX for your printing needs. Prints can also be purchased directly through me in your client gallery. If purchased through me, all prints will be handled by a professional photo lab that I have partnered with.
